ASUS Eee PC
The ASUS Eee PC is a very basic, light, small laptop that doesn't do much, but to me it's the ideal traveling laptop. It has wireless access and several basic applications for Web browsing, email, music, video, and it even has a camera. It's very rugged, with a solid-state 4GB hard disk. While 512KB of memory is minuscule, with a basic Linux OS, it should be enough for most travel commuter needs. It looks like an ideal travel computer.
