Sideways
I recently ordered the movie Sideways from Netflix. I hadn't planned to watch it; I could tell from some reviews and clips that it wasn't my kind of movie. When I saw it listed under new movies I decided to check it out anyway. Most of the reviews had been good, so I thought I would give it a chance. I hated it. I hated it almost as much as I hated My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Both were well-reviewed small movies that stunk. The acting was lousy, there were cheap visual cliches, unlikely encounters, etc. Next time I'll trust my instincts.
