Here's a summary of recent Lance stories at the Daily Peleton. Sounds like he is planning to retire after the 2004 season when he'll be 33. This will give him a chance to be the only person in history to win 6 straight Tours. Armstrong remains more popular and famous in Europe than he does in his own country, but as his Tour de France victories begin to add up and the sense of his invicibility grows, so Europe begins to despair who can defeat him on the open road. He was also recently named Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year.
