A while ago I recovered some old, black and white photos that were being discarded. Over the past few days I've been doing pencil drawings from them. After trying to work in color for years, using watercolor, oils, and colored pencil, I find that simple graphite drawings give me the most satisfaction. I sense a new hobby coming on, collecting old, anonymous photos and drawing from them.
