Had a great time watching the Washington Mystics kick some New York Liberty butt last night at the MCI Center. The crowd was pumped, and I nearly lost my voice from screaming so much. The venue is in a great location, near the heart of DC, close to the subway. Since the center opened, the once neglected neighborhood has come to life, with restaurants, hotels, and the new International Spy Museum. Unfortunately all the struggling artists who lived in the old museum building were all kicked out, but that's one of the few downsides to the transformation.
