Finally got my scanner to work, so I've updated my Artwork section to include some recent pencil landscape sketches. These are from old black and white photos that I rescued from the trash. They have a mysterious quality about them (the photos) that I've tried to capture in the sketches. I thought the scanner only worked with a USB connection, and since NT 4.0 doesn't support USB I figured I was out of luck. Come to find out, I only needed to purchase a male/female 25-pin cable and all is well. It did require downloading the 50+MB HP driver. The driver includes some decent character recognition software. I remember when the OCR software along cost a fortune.
