Rode to a meeting last night and thought I could avoid the front that was moving into the area. Just before arriving the lightning started and I ducked for cover. I didn't want to end up like this boy who was struck while riding his bike. I vowed to search for info and came across this factsheet on how to deal with thunderstorms while cycling at the League of American Bicyclists site. Guess rubber tires don't help much.
