Erik Zabel won Milan-San Remo yesterday and George Hincapie finished 9th after just missing a huge pileup at the finish, according to this article in VeloNews. I still can't figure out why American newspapers spend so much ink on so few sports and can't find the space to report on some of the greatest sporting events in the world, the Spring Classics in Europe. At least OLN has some excellent television cycling coverage this year, including the Tour de France live, probably for the first time ever in the U.S.
