The poet Gregory Corso, one of the early Beat poets, died Wednesday according to this article in the New York Times (I think it requires a free registration with the Times). Here's an interesting article on Steve Jobs and the new Apple cube computer. I'm always kind of rooting for Apple although I haven't owned one since the early Mac Plus days. The Republicans have taken over DC the past couple of days, getting ready for the inauguration on Saturday, including big brother. It was good to sit and talk over dinner last night in Old Town, mostly avoiding politics.
