Cycled to a meeting at the County building yesterday, about an 18 mile round trip. It was a beautiful, cool, clear day, such an anomaly for this time of year. A lot of people work at the county building, probably a couple of thousand, and I saw ONE other bicycle besides mine. I don't understand why more people haven't discovered the benefits of cycling to work. It's going to be a challenge to try to hold a successful Bike to Work day there next year. About once a day I feel like writing to Ralph Nader to thank him for screwing up the country.
